With influences from Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka, Teochew, Japanese, British and other Western cuisine, the food scene in Hong Kong is thriving. Head to Spring Deer for northern Chinese food like Peking duck, Tim Ho Wan for dim sum and fishing villages for fresh seafood.

Island Hopping

Hong Kong is full of intriguing neighbourhoods and islands, all of which feature breathtaking mountains, national parks and countryside. Some of the most popular islands to visit are: Lantau Island, which has some of the best hiking trails in Hong Kong; Lamma Island, great for a family-friendly hike and a delicious seafood dining; and Peng Chau, with a peaceful vibe, hiking trails and temples.


With influences from China and colonial Europe, some of Hong Kong’s cultural attractions and experiences include temples - such as the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery (Man Fat Tze), the Chi Lin Nunnery and The Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery - the Chinese opera and noteworthy museums like Hong Kong Science Museum, Museum of Coastal Defense and Hong Kong Space Museum.
