In June 2019, it was announced that Princess Cruises the return of Pacific Princess, the very ship that gained international fame when she starred as the actual Love Boat, to Australian waters this summer. 7travel had the privilege to chat with actor Ted Lange, who brought the role of Isaac the Bartender on The Love Boat to screens across the world in the 70s and 80s, to discuss what it means to see this incredible vessel on the high seas.
What does it mean to you that Pacific Princess is making her return to Australia?
Princess Cruises invited me Down Under to celebrate the news that Pacific Princess will be returning to Sydney for the 2020-2021 Australian summer! The arrival of Pacific Princess in Sydney will mark 45 years since Princess Cruises first started sailing from Australia. The original Pacific Princess was the first ship that Princess deployed here, which was the ship that co-starred with me in The Love Boat!

What is it about taking a holiday with Princess Cruises that you love the most?
What I love about cruising on Princess is that no two days are the same. You wake up in a new destination or have a different view almost every day. It’s also one of the only holidays where everyone can relax, you unpack once, and no one needs to cook or clean or worry about directions!
What it is about a cruise holiday that brings 'the love'?
What could be more romantic than spending time together cruising on the ocean to exotic destinations? The salty air, the sea breeze, the stars - it’s a recipe for romance.
