What better way to start the weekend than to get outside and get the endorphins pumping after a long week at work?
Well, have you ever gone for a walk or run around the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney? If not, it’s time that you did.
Here’s a list of some of the tracks we recommend you try out:
Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk
This could be one of Sydney’s most famous walking/running tracks. It features five beaches along the six-kilometre trail.
You’ll get to see some of the Eastern Suburbs’ most beautiful scenery including beaches, cliffs and parks.
Distance: Six kilometres, one way
Location: Starting at 1 Notts Avenue, Bondi Beach NSW 2026
Centennial Parklands is the perfect spot to get your fitness on. They have a bike-free, horse-free walking track with a circumference of 3.7 kilometres.
It’s a great option, as traffic lights or cyclists won’t hold you back.
This is also a good family friendly option, as there are plenty of spots to have a picnic by the lakes, and also bike hire is available.
Distance: 3.7 kilometres one-way around
Location: Grand Drive, Centennial Park NSW 2021
If it’s beach sprints and stunning beach views that you’re after, then look no further than Maroubra Beach.
The picturesque beach is one kilometre in length, making it a great option for beach running.
Distance: One kilometre
Location: Maroubra Beach, Maroubra NSW 2035
Rose Bay to Watsons Bay Walk (inc. Hermitage Foreshore Track)
This could be one of the most stunning coastal trails in Sydney.
During this experience, you’ll get to witness parks, bays, secluded beaches (including Milk Beach, Parsley Bay and Nielsen Park) and incredible views of Sydney city and the harbour.
The Hermitage Foreshore Track is also park of this hike, which extends between Bayview Hill Road and Nielsen Park.

Clovelly Beach to Coogee Beach Coastal Walk
Not only is it a great way to get the children out of the house, but also it’s got stunning views of two of Sydney’s best beaches.
Distance: Two kilometres
Location: Donnellan Circuit and Victory Street in Clovelly
