Singapore is known for its shopping, but it is also home to some incredible rooftop bars. To make you feel like you’re on top of the world, here’s your go-to guide for the best ones.

1. 1-Altitude Gallery & Bar

This is Singapore’s highest rooftop bar with absolutely stunning panoramic views of the cityscape. With modern décor, multicoloured lighting and exotic trees, you’ll be surrounded by young professionals as you indulge in your cocktail or two. We recommend The Narcissist, a vodka based cocktail, with peach and lime with rosemary infused raspberries. While the cover charge is $25, it does get you a drink on arrival.

2. SuperTree by IncoChine

We doubt you’ve ever seen a rooftop bar like SuperTree. Imagine wining and dining on treetops as if you're in a treehouse. This unique rooftop bar is perched at the top of the highest structure in the popular Gardens by the Bay. The food and drinks are great featuring a mix of Asian and Western cuisine. We recommend the TLC cocktail. This pink martini will satisfy your sweet tooth combining the divine flavours of champagne, pineapple, cranberry and French peach. The entry fee of $18 includes a complimentary drink.

3. Bar Rouge

At Bar Rouge you’ll experience incredible views of both Singapore and Malaysia situated on top of the Swissotel The Stamford. And without a cover charge! If you’re a fan of whisky, go with the Pearl Sour, which has whisky, ginger beer, pineapples, grapefruit and orange bitters.

4. Lantern at Fullerton Bay Hotel

This charming rooftop bar is close to the Marina Bay, which means you'll be able to enjoy gorgeous, unobstructed view of the water. Kick back on the lush beds, which line the stunning 25-metre mosaic pool. The candle lit lanterns nestled cozily in each corner create an Asian-inspired spot perfect for socialising. We recommend the Imperial Berry Mojito - a refreshing concoction of rum, berries, mint and lime.

5. Ce La Vi Skybar

Ce La Vi offers incredible panoramic views of the CBD and Marina Bay. Because of the waterfront location, you can also watch the extraordinary laser shows that take place at the Marina each night from 8-9.30pm. The bar has an indoor and outdoor area along with a small dance floor if you're interested in putting on your dancing shoes. Try one of their signature cocktails like the East Side with gin, lemon, grapefruit and yuzu.
